Hai,

I need help. I can't find the features to zoom while recording video or taking a picture.

Really need help urgently!!

There is no zoom as standard on the Tab...

If you search the Android Market, there are a number of Apps which will add a zoom feature to the camera, but I'm not sure if these will work in video mode......check the Apps website to confirm.

Two Apps that come to mind are Vingrette & ZoomFX, but there are probably more.

The above video posted by Bart should assists you but if you would want to try, you can download a free apps Vignette and see if you still have the video pause button available during video recording. Vignette allows some level of digital zoom. Cheers.

I have the Galaxy tablet SPH_P100 and I can't figure out how to zoom the camera or camcorder. I know I can't zoom while videoing but want to zoom before I start recording. I tried the volume buttons but that doesn't work. In the specs it says the camera zooms, but I don't see anything in the user manual about it. Help please.

Can anyone help with my above post?

This is listed on the specs:

Camera
Camera (Front) 1.3 Megapixel
Camera (Rear) 3.0 Megapixel Auto Focus with Flash
Features 3x Digital Zoom, Auto Focus, Shot Modes, Smile Shot, Geo-tagging, Editing Modes, Camcorder, Video Share, Online Image Uploading

Hi dvargo1226

unless I am mistaken I cannot see a post from you other than on March 21 st.

There is no Standard Zoom feature on the camera of a P1000.
Auto focus is done by holding on the shoot button for a second before clicking for the shot.
Photos can be cropped from the Tab software and then shared to other sites, Email Ebook, Picasa etc

Where are you getting these specs from?

the 3xzoom refers to viewing a photo on the Tab, if you view a photo on the Tab & tap it, you will see a + - for zoom
1, original, tap + for 2, zoom, tap + for 3, zoom .... (see page 114 User Manual)
