Hi,
I've used to able to connect to my desktop computer via wifi from the tab SM-T800 using ES File Explorer Pro and just clicking on my computer's name. (The router is an Asus RT-AC66U, if that makes any difference.) Now a couple of days ago when I try to connect to the computer from the tablet I get a login fail message with a list of different things that might be turned off.
I've been scratching my head and trying different solutions, but I haven't really a clue what to do. I don't know whether the problem is with Windows 10 on the computer, the router or the tablet.
anybody have any ideas?
best,
Pluto46

Just discovered the solution to the problem. Apparently ES File Explorer on the tablet didn't have the right IPv4 (which you can find by typing ipconfig in the command prompt. Must have changed when the router was updated last week. Normal service is resumed in other words.
