Does the galaxy tab s 10.5 have an auto sleep/wake feature when you use an external case?
The ipad I used to have had this and it is a nifty feature.

But if the Tab S tablet does have this feature, the otterbox case I bought does not work for some reason

Can anyone recommend a rugged case with the auto sleep/wake feature for my Galaxy Tab S 10.5 ?

Depends what you mean by a rugged case?
I bought a leather case off the internet made by Bori Yuan, when you close even half the flap the screen shuts down into sleep mode. It has small magnetics to keep the flap closed. I have had the tablet 2 years and it still is in good shape. The case came with a screen protector and cheap stylus. If you are looking for a chunky rubber one, it is not that but the tan leather looks quite smart, as opposed to the cheap plastic Samsung one.
The Tab S is much better spec than the Tab S2, so hang onto it.
I don't know if it was because of an software upgrade but I have seemed to have lost that blue dot that has the screenshot function plus other things.
