Hi all,
I'm wondering what I can delete to prevent excessive downloads and battery use? How can I slim this baby down a bit? I don't want to use Hancom office stuff, can I delete that and stop it ever downloading again?
I don't really want a lot of the Samsung apps either, like their version of Email etc. I just want Android to run as efficient as possible and be a gateway (via my mobile phone wifi hotspot) to Google DOCS.
Is this possible?

If you try to delete any of the fixed programs you will receive the message that this may affect how the machine works and could mess it up. Granted there is a lot of dross taking up memory, but I would say that Hancom Office software is one of the best on there and perhaps better than MS Office in some cases.
You can hide a lot of the dross but not remove it. Install a micro card for storage of your photos and documents, which will save you space.
I have had my Tab S nearly a year and only used 68% of the memory even after recently installing Norton. What will make your machine inefficient is down loading a lot of these apps that don't do much, there is some real clutter out there on Google.
Use the Smart Manager Provider to clean up the files and cookies and this will save you space and RAM.
I am not a computer geek, just a user.
Good Luck
