My major usage of Galaxy Tab is for video recording. I have nearly 100+ short videos stored on the device. I have to delete a few low quality ones to make a room for further use. But i wrongly deleted a couple them. I am wondering if there was anyway to recover those videos?

Not certain about 4.4.2, but Android does not have an undelete function. You can install an app that supports undelete, but that must be in place before deleting the file. So if you plan (haha) to do this again, look for one of those apps. Maybe I should say...if you're concerned that this might happen again.

BTW, I don't do deletes on my Tab until AFTER I have copied the files to my PC. I copy files from all three of my Androids at minimum once a quarter. Which reminds me, my wife has a bunch of stuff from October that I should backup for her.

Steve

Galaxy Tab A 8" (SM-T350) updated to 6.0.1
Galaxy Tab 2 7" WiFi (GT P3113 TSR) running 4.0.4 ICS
Also LG G3 phone, and Lenovo Tab 2 10".

You still have a chance to get back your lost data from android phone, in fact, they are not actually erased at this point - just removed from the directory and can be recovered if not over-written by later activity. Don't try Recuva, it doesn't work at all for Android phone, Recuva is a data recovery app only works for hard drive, it can't identify the Android system! Mobiledic Android recovery works, I used it to recover android photos from my Samsung s6, tested on my Sony phone.

You should check out the backup, whether you have synced the data to Gmail account, or saved on your pc. And then, try some recovery methods, disk digger or Recuva, you can also try professional android recovery programs.
