Can't get screen mirror to connect to my TV. Both are Samsung, both have screen mirror capabilities. I can control TV with the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 via SmartView 2.0. BUT Screen mirror won't connect. Have been on phone over hour with Samsung who have remote checked TV and tablet. Tablet guys say its the TV, Tv guys say it is the tablet. HELP. Any body have a solution. About ready to go buy another tablet just to see if it will work--at least would narrow down the problem.

I just hook up mine via a cable .....

Thanks. I gave the cables a try, but that won't work either. TV doesn't recognize the tablet through the HDMI. So will take the tablet to Best Buy and let the Samsung guys try it on a TV in the store. Maybe they can figure out something.

There are some that work, and some that don't ....

The one I recommended works fine on my Panasonic TV as you can see...

A free HDMI and two free USB ports are required ...

What's the model #on the TV? I've got an ES6500 which isn't high end enough for screen mirroring, although the icons and crap on the TV suggest otherwise. So I can play to TV, share to TV, whatever, more dlna than screen mirroring, but at least it's convenient when it works. I've had to routinely hard reset the entire network to even get the TV and tab to recognize each other.

Regards,

Steve
