Using the Kindle reader (because I have several books ordered through Amazon Kindle) the screen is painfully bright even with Auto brightness turned off and the brightness slider turned all the way to the left. Is there any fix for that? All other apps respond appropriately to brightness adjustments. Is brightness adjustable with other e-book readers on the Tab 3, or is it only the Kindle reader which can't be adjusted? Are there other readers available for the Tab 3 which will allow me to read the Kindle books comfortably?

Thanks - Bill Hansen

Here's the answer that I provided to another query. (In case the linked thread jumps around, it's message #21.)

Thank you!! I doubt that I would ever have found that, and of course it solves the problem. Life is good.
