I have resently purchased my Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 and am really perplexed as to why I am getting so many very intrusive pop up adverts that pop up every few seconds and was hoping someone would be able to advise me on how to either stop them or at least reduce the frequency.

Free Apps............ the developers and Google I suppose need the adverts

Add Blocker will rid most browsers of popups but not the script across the bottom of apps

Note 10.1 2014 LTE/WiFi

Thank you. Do you have any recommendations as to which ad blockers to use or is the name "Ad blocker" an actual product name.

Some Ad blockers require that you root your tablet. This is something that is not for the faint of heart, :help::wacko: and certainly something that is not recommended since doing so will void your warranty. :nea:

Please keep this in mind, because whatever app you choose to use, you should always read the description on the app before installing. :pardon:

I have been using Adblock Plus from adblockplus.org. Available in the playstore. It does not require rooting.
