Hi all,

I'm new in flash rom. But after follow instruction I managed to upgrade the firm ware to Jelly Bean 4.2.2. Then I could not install the gapps-jb-20130301-signed. Then I decided to restore to earlier version ginger bread 2.3.3

The problem started here. since then when i powered up with power and volume+ i've got message
E: failed to mount /cache (Invalid argument)
E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/command

# MANUAL MODE #
E: failed to mount /cache (Invalid argument)
E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/recovery_kernel_log
E: copy_kernel_file :: Can't open /cache/recovery/recovery_kernel_log
etc
and the error log repeats

Now my tab could not be used.

Kindly advice me how to recover my tab

Looking forward the expert advice.

Thank you

Have you found help yet? I had the same problem with my Tab. When I turned it on it would get stuck in the Verizon logo but it would never start all the way. I came to find out that the internal storage chip was damaged. There's a way around it. I found a forum in xda developers on how to install a ROM on the external storage, sd card, and have the Tab boot up from it. Let me know if this helps or if you want the link for that forum.

Hi,
I have exactly same problem - did you solve it? And if yes, can you tell me how?? I think the problem could be that I was not allowed to check the USD debugging in the first place..
