hello,
I am searchng for a way to print from the galaxy tab2 p5110 to a usbprinter (samsung) connected to my pc. The samsung moble print app seems not working. I would like to be able to send the task by wifi to the pc and then print or/and connect up to the pc and then send the task over the usb connection.
I am totally new into tabs and android so please take that into account.
Thanks.

Not really sure what your question is?
To print to a wireless printer beside a Samsung, you will need an app like PrinterShare
Cloud - No one really understands it some just use it

Just purchased Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 from Costco. I am trying to print an e-mail in google mail to my wireless printer. It's an HP Photosmart Premium.
I tried the HP Eprint app but it does not print an e-mail apparently.
Is there another app (preferably free) that would allow me to print an e-mail.
Please help. Thank you.

prior to purchasing the tab I spoke with someone at the on line 24-7 tech help who stated if you have blu-tooth wireless printer then you can print to it. But I can not figure out how either. Looks like I will contact them and let yall know

Hi all,
I'm trying to print from my tab (Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1) to my Canon printer (Canon Pixma iP2700) via a USB cable but am getting the message that the printer is not supported.
To explain further: I am using the app "MobileBiz" to create invoices. I need to be able to print these invoices. The Canon printer has no wifi.
I would appreciate any ideas on how I can print? Thanks in advance.
Kelly

You need to load an App - there are several in Play. I couldn't find any free ones that will allow you to print wirelessly direct to the printer. If you are happy to go via a PC, then look at Printer Share.

There are a few free apps in play that allow you to use Google Cloud printing. Works great on my Tab 2.

Take a look in the Samsung Apps section. I just purchased a new Galaxy 2 10.1 and have a wireless HP printer. Search for HP ePrint apps. I downloaded and installed the ePrint Home and Biz app. It only took a couple of minutes and instantly recognized my printer on our wifi network. I'm not sure if it will print directly from all programs. I have used it to print Adobe Acrobat files and it worked flawlessly. It even allows access to all my printer setup functions.

+1 for PrinterShare. Not cheap but it works and is very versatile.

Hi All.. newbie here and I'm having a problem getting my wife's Galaxy Tab 10.1 to print... or even see the printer...
I have a Samsung laser printer (ML-2240) connected via USB to a home server. The server is wired into my Netgear N600 wireless router.
The Tab can wirelessly see the network, and can access files from the home server, but it can't see the printer.
I've tried using the "Netgear Genie" app for the Tab, which they say should sort it out, but no.....
I've also tried the "Samsung Mobile print" app, but even that can't see the printer.
Anyone got any ideas...?

just some basic checks on your PC:
have you checked : Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Network and Sharing Center\Advanced sharing settings .....
is 'Turn on file & printer sharing' selected ?
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Devices and Printers .......
is your 'Samsung laser printer (ML-2240)' set as the default printer ?
when you right click it, select printer properties, sharing .... is it set to share ?

Hi Bart... yes, sharing is set up.... I can print from all PC's and laptops, both wired and wireless, that are on the network, but not from the Tab.
I have realised that this may be in the wrong forum... mine is the v2 Tab, although this problem may be common to both versions??

it could be that the Tab, does not see a 'Windows Home Network' .....
you could try Play Store : ES File Explorer :- https://play.google....explorer&c=apps
and see what that picks up on your wifi, you should be able to see the printer on there,
and have an option to : long press a document & Share, select 'your Printer'
