I am using the DivX converter to convert vob files. I can get video on both my computer and the Tab but no audio. Anyone have any experience or suggestions for this issue? I am trying to play dvdd that I have downloaded to my computer on my Tab. They play fine on the computer, until converted, they play, but without audio on the computer, same for the Tab. Can others share what they are using to convert files to play on tab.

try using "Virtual-Dub-Mpeg2",
load file xxx.vob, set Video to "full procesing mode", "compresion" select Xvid,
set Audio to "source audio" "direct stream copy"
....... File, save as AVI, name the video

Virtual-Dub-Mpeg2 :- http://fcchandler.ho...alDub-MPEG2.zip

you may also need AC3ACM Decompressor, depending on what AC3 filters you have now
(download a copy, but try the above first, before installing, as you may not need it)

AC3ACM Decompressor :- http://fcchandler.ho...3ACM/AC3ACM.zip

*** [Note] when copied to my Tab "download" folder, did not show up in "Video Player" but played ok when "tapped" in download folder & vid. player selected,
moved the file to "DCIM/Camera" & it showed up in vid. player & played from there ok

Hi.
I haven't tried the DivX converter yet, but I got the Brorsoft Video Converter for months. It helps me convert various video files like MKV, WMV, FLV, VOB, MOD, MTS, M2TS, etc to Galaxy Tab supported video format MP4 without any video/auido playback trouble.
Note: Before start the conversion, to set "Stereo" as audio channel and make sure that Samplerate is at "48ooohz" and Bitrate is at "160000bps."
