    I finally restored my tablet to an official rom that is now compatible with kies!

    I got the stock firmware for my tab and region here: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/

    You have to find out your tablet region code. After that, you download the correct firmware from the country your tablet is from. Use odin to install the stock firmware and you're set!

    To find out your region code.

    > Go to regedit
    > Hkey_Current_User
    > Software
    > Samsung
    > Kies
    > Device
    > Scan through number 1 - 7 and search for HIDSWVER and Product Code

    > Product Code Will look like : GT-P6800######, The ###### will list the country code.

    Then go here to look up the country code.

    I had some issues too. Some sites, when I try to do a "search", I cannot type because the keyboard keeps disappearing. After upgrading to ICS. It worked before.

    Had the same issue. I thought my tablet was done for. Not exactly sure how I got it charging and running again. But it is dangerous to let the battery drain to near empty on this tab that's for sure.

    I wasn't getting any "charging" notice on the screen with it plugged into the wall. I kept of fiddling with it and finally, I saw the charging icon. I left it alone for a few hours and it started working again.

    I also reinstalled ICS thinking that was the problem because I couldn't get tablet to turn on. The only menu that work was the downloading screen for android. So I reinstalled ICS and still, it was dead....

    Magically, I was able to still used the device after installing ICS with a tablet that had a near dead battery. I was ready to buy a new 7.7 tab for $600! Thank goodness I got it to charge again.
