  1. How do I delete APPS from the P1000?

    I have some apps on my P1000 tablet that I would like to remove completely.

    These are apps like Whatsapp, Symantec virus scanner etc.

    I can use Kies on my PC and delete the items as shown on the tree but sure enough the icons still show on the Tablet and Symantec and Whatsapp keep nagging me to update the software.

    If I go to Applications and then menu key I get all the Icons showing with the option to Edit. If I select Edit it puts a minus sign on some of the apps I have downloaded.If I select one of the apps I want to delete it does not highlight that app but asks me if I want to delete this item.I am afraid that it will delete all the icons with the minus sign....not only the ones I want to delete.

    So how do I select only the apps that I want to delete and go about deleting them from my P1000?

    Also what is a good FREE virus scanner app that I can download?

  2. How do I disable Predictive text?

    A while ago I somehow found a screen that enabled me to set Predictive Text...or whatever it is they call it.

    I set this up and now the stupid facility is driving me crazy and I do not know how to turn it off! :sad:
    I do not know if it is the Android developers or Samsung that are responsible for this program but it definitely sees the English language different to the way I see it.

    Could someone please tell me how to disable this function so that I no longer get prompts for every word I try to type in...my apologies if this has been covered before but the Search function is no help here.

    This is for the original P1000 7 inch tablet.
