  1. In Topic: Screen Protectors

I give a "+1" on the Zagg/invisible SHIELD screen protector. I believe they are one and the same thing -- that invisible SHIELD is a Zagg product.

I have had a Zagg invisible SHIELD on my Samsung tablet from the beginning and the fit is perfect. It gives the screen a softer (nicer) feel than the glass screen but does not seem to affect touch sensitivity with either fingers or a stylus. It is extremely durable and virtually scratch proof.

I installed mine myself and although it is not difficult I am sure I would do a better job the second time doing it. Don't be too aggressive in working out small bubbles. They will disappear on their own in a day or two. I have a slight stretch mark, not noticeable in normal use, from over squeegeeing to remove small bubbles. The Zagg invisible SHIELD installation is a "wet" install process. I would let an expert do the install if they include installation in the price.

I picked up a charging kit at The Source (Circuit City) specifically for the Galaxy Tab. It includes a car charger, wall charger and a charging/data cable. The brand is iLove. I see it for sale at Amazon:

Both chargers and the cable have performed perfectly.

No, that's not normal. I have been able to reduce my sleep mode battery drain to virtually zero, although there obviously must be some drain, by monitoring battery use using the BetterBatteryStats app and following various reviews and guides for that app you will find searching the Internet.

I found this site very helpful: http://www.alliance-...ry-stats-guide/

I have the Monoprice USB extension cable referenced by the link in message #2, except in black rather than white, and it works perfectly. It is a fairly large diameter for a USB cable but not overly bulky and is nice and soft and flexible. Great price too as is normal from Monoprice.

    Hi there,

I have uploaded books from my laptop to my Galaxy tab and cannot open them.

I downloaded recommended app from google and this was also unsuccessful. The majority of these books are MOBI files.

    Can anyone help please?

    Thanks (:

Which app did you download from Google? Which folder are you putting the ebook files in?
