The GALAXY Tab 2 series is coming in March! Samsung will launch both a 7-inch and 10.1-inch model in the UK initially, both running Ice Cream Sandwich and available in 3G and WiFi models.

No pricing information was divulged at MWC in Barcelona where the news started circulating over the weekend leading up to the show.

Expect a 1GHZ dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, a pair of cameras, the choice of either 16GB or 32GB of RAM and the latest version of Samsung’s TouchWiz overlay.

“Two years ago, Samsung Galaxy Tab began to offer customers more possibilities on the go. Since then, Samsung has actively enhanced our tablet line-up with several tablets in different sizes. The new Galaxy Tab 2 will provide people with delighted multimedia experience and allow efficient communication,” said JK Shin, president of IT & Mobile Communications Division at Samsung, in a media statement.
