Have my tablet P 6800 for a couple of weeks now. Music streaming from an online radio station is not very stable. Lots of drop outs ,even with low bit rate. Has anybody got the same problems? Don't think it is the WiFi signal. Smart phone is streaming perfect. Could it be just the 3.2 system ?

No streaming problems for me. Video and audio stream perefectly, both wifi and 3g. Sorry not to be of help. Might help if we know what station your trying to listen to. I could try it my end ?

Just downloaded the "Tune in" app and it works like a charm. Although watching videos online is slow. One thing that i find annoying is if i am watching a video and i open another tab simultaneously the video stops. When i return to the tab playing the video it refreshes. Do you have this problem as well? If not i wonder if there is a setting i need to change to allow multiple tabs to run simultaneously.

thank you for your concern! Have send tablet back to supplier. Agreed to check it over under warranty. They say ,it could be a problem with router , rather then the tablet! If the android phone works 100 % with streaming, it does not mean the tablet does the same. Anyway, it is nice of them to take it back at no cost. Even if it is a gray import ( In Australia ). Will keep you up up to date. By the way, have noticed that my tablet is constantly searching for WiFi , when connected to router ! ( full bars ) Does yours do the same??

Thank you for your mail! Have downloaded " Tune in " on the first day I got the tablet. Was my number one streaming station on the rooted Nook Color . Could never get it to work properly on the Galaxy .????? Have sent the tablet back to supplier to check out for WiFi problems. Will keep you up to date what the outcome is. Noticed that my tablet keeps searching for WiFi at all times, when connected to the router at full bars . Does yours do the same ??

I noticed in another post refering to the green arrows your seeing next to the wifi signal strength. They show Tx and Rx of data. Even when you think your tablet is idle there will be a small amout of handshake data between the device and router. This is what you are seeing with the arrows. The device also does scan every few seconds which is normal as it allows the device to switch to the strongest wifi signal before the loss of one your connected to (really of use in work place environments where there may be several routers covering a site).

I have found the wifi to be rock solid on the 7.7, but have only used it on maybe 4 different routers at different locations, but so far, no problems.

If you can, try it on someone elses router and see how you go. It may be your router as I have experienced a iPAQ 6915 that wouldn't connect to my BT router, but was fine on my Belkin.

Also, make sure you have the latest firmware installed. There has been an over the air update, did you get it ??
