Hi,

I am thinking about buying a GT but I need it to either run MS Office OneNote or more likely run the web version on office.live.com website. I think the web site requires Java so that may be the limitation. If GT does not run Java, does anyone have insight into when it may?

I know there are versions of OneNote and other great note taking apps but I've been using OneNote for years and have tons of material that I use regularly and don't want to switch.

Thanks

There is an app called MobileNoter... It just came out of beta and allows you to sync your OneNote notebooks to any android device. However - it has just come out and only allows you to view your notebooks, not create or edit. I have synced by notebooks and viewed them fine. The company promises that it will soon add edit and create capabilities. I believe them as they already have a fully functional ipad app. They do charge a $1.25/month service fee though. For me, I think it will be worth it - I'm anxiously awaiting the edit functions.

I've never had much consistent luck editing my notebooks via the web interface - MobileNoter is the only bet right now.

Thanks slamorte, can you confirm that the GT cannot access office.live.com website? I thought it ran using Java and the GT should be able to execute Java with the correct settings.

I have had varied levels of success using different web browsers, but have never reliably been able to view our edit through Windows on the Galaxy Tab.

With the latest version of evernote for pc you can import onenote and edit with evernote, works pretty well.
