FaceBook Problems

Does anyone know if Farmville, Cafeworld, or Bejeweled Blitz can be played on the Galaxy Tab? I can't find it in the Marketplace.

I use Dolphin HD browser and set it to desktop mode. It works for the games I play (Mafia Wars and Vampire Wars). I haven't tried Farmville yet but I have accepted gifts for it.

Sorry to bother you again, but I don't know how to set it to desktop mode. I downloaded dolphin HD browser and looked at the settings, but can't figure out how to toggle the display to desktop mode. Can you help me out here? Thanks.

No bother.

Open Dolphin and then the menu and select More. Open Settings and go to User Agent in the Dolphin Settings section. Select Desktop and that should do it.

can somebody confirm if fb games will work like cafe world.farmville, cityville using dolphin hb browser. im in the process of buyin a galaxy tab next week and need to know beforehand. thanks

Farmville will load but it is very difficult to play. Loading and scrolling is slow. I would not recommend it. It works better with their games where you click on buttons like Mafia Wars. It can be slow on a PC sometimes so maybe you will be OK with it. Try before you buy for sure. A netbook may work better for you if this is your main reason for getting the Tab.

Everytime i try to upload a picture to FB via there android program it either gets stuck at 19% or stays at 0% and never uploads anything. Any body have any ideas ???

Is anyone else having trouble with FB games like Slotomania or Texas Hold'em.

Somehow I could play with SGT like couple of days ago and now, the pages won't load. Actually it says, "page doesn't exist"? What's happened, I did everything like before. Log in FB, change it to desktop mode, click the game link and play.

And now... page not found? I didn't touch the browser settings, I even tried yesterday to reset the factory defaults but still no.

Has anyone else bumped into this? What to do? Different web browser? Which one?
Anyone? No1? no? :)

Everyones all quiet as they wont want to admit to playing facebook games :rofl:

I couldnt get cityville to work if its any consolation and personally its not a bad thing as they are a resource drain on a laptop never mind a gtab.

doesn't help me much =) still I'm wondering why it worked earlier and now it doesn't...

Maybe I should try different web browsers, dolphin maybe? What do you think?

And it's true, nobody wants to admit that they play FB games. They're so addictive...

My tab is crashing all the time!
I open the facebook and with 3 other more apps and the
P1000 device is not function,only when im doing some reset

Same problem here but not on facebook but in aldiko while on standby mode

I was having exactly the same issue. I switched Dolphin to identify as desktop (rather than Android) and that solved it.

Makers of Facebook games are constantly messing with them live without any testing; they don't give a stuff about who gets annoyed by it, because the games are not there to provide any service or amusement, they're there to provide the developer with the advertising revenue and nothing more, so, I'm afraid you have to get used to this :(

Just download Dolphin HD browser. Use it in desktop mode. That's the way. It isn't the best browser but it works. Now U can play slotomania and texas hold'em ;)

Thank you just downloaded Dolphin:). Yes Games like farmville too long to load. But I see the facebook page just like I would on computer yeah :) which means I can get gifts and return gifts. hey at least it is a start :)Which is half way in my book.

Mafia Wars on Facebook has a city for mobile devices, Atlantic City. I play MW on my laptops and haven't tried it yet on my GT. And for the MWs nuts like me, Google Chrome browser works MUCH faster than Internet Explorer.

go to the main navigation page in the app (the page with all the icons at the top and pictures at the bottom) and press the menu button.
logout is there. ;)
