Interesting problem this morning. I plugged the tab into the PC and used the pull down tab to turn the USB mass storage on. I've used this method before with the tab to put songs on the SD.

This morning, I get no connection. USB debugging is on. I've restarted both the PC and tab, turned USB debugging off and back on.

The tab tells me I am connected via USB, but I cannot see the SD card on the PC.

I used the z4root to do perm root. I unrooted and rerooted, still the same thing. PC cannot see the SD.

I searched here and found posts about using Kies to connect pc. I did not have kies installed last time I connected.

Have you tried using a microSD card reader ?

That's the way I do it sometimes.

When the SD card is put back in the Tab, the scans pick up the new content.....

Not sure why or how, but like my first post the usb mass storage option worked just fine for me the first few times I tried it.

I got it working shortly after I posted. I went and turned off usb debugging. Plugged the GT in using the usb cable. It reads the phone, in the menu were samsung usb drivers. I installed those and it seems to be working now.

Im unsure of why it was working before and it wasnt this morning when I went to use it, but this seems to be the fix.
