Searched and couldn't really find an answer to my question so here it goes..

My brother got the Verizon SCH-I800 SGT on Gingerbread 2.3.5 for Christmas (used) and everything works fine on it except it freezes/locks up pretty frequently. Most of the time it is while in the browser but it also does it at other random times. The screen will freeze and become unresponsive. You can either long press the power button to shut it off or it will eventually restart itself.

I flash ROM's and stuff on my Galaxy S all the time so I decided to root and install a custom ROM on his Tab to see if it helped it out but unfortunately it did not.

Let me know if you need any additional information and I'll promptly provide it. At this point it seems hardware related so it may be covered under warranty...may.

Thanks in advance for any help!
