I am wondering what is the best way, and cheapest, to get movies on to my Tab? Is there any freeware that is worth a damn? I have the trial version of foxreal, but would like to know if there is an alternative to paying $35 for software to convert dvd's to MP4? I have tried most of the so-called free ones and they all suck or won't do anything unless you upgrade. (pay)
Thanks for any help you can provide.
Sincerely,

Recon1

I play movies on my GT and the quality is very good. I don't convert them to mp4 but instead to .avi files. I use DVDFab but there are a couple others that do work well and are free. Try Freemake and/or Handbrake.

There are lots of variants of codec encoding for the AVI file format......perhaps the Tab doesn't like that particular one.

Why don't you look for a good File Converter, and try converting them to mp4 ?

Nothing to loose..........
