Going through the registration page, it's asking for a 'serial number,' which I am trying to enter, and it says incorrect. I found "S/N:" on the back of the device and have tried to enter that, but it says it's incorrect.
Thanks,
Kenson Martz

I just registered mine and noticed that the letters in the S/N are case sensitive.

I just finished registering my 7+ and had no problem at all. Used Firefox for the process.

I tried in both Chrome and Firefox. I typed it in all caps. I didn't notice that there were multiple cases? In the About Device in settings the SN is in all caps.
Thanks,
Kenson Martz

I went through that same issue too about a month ago, when I bought my Tab
I even viewed the serial number with a magnifing glass to confirm it.
I did call via phone and the service person took my info and said he would register my tab on his end.
The problem is with Samsungs web site! Not you eyes!

Guys,

Just bought the device a week ago and have not registered yet.
I found that the serial number are all zeroes (Setting>About Device>Status). Is that normal?

How to find the Serial Number?

You are looking in the correct place but you should not see Zeros. Your SN should be there. Out of curiosity, do you see any other numbers, your mac address, Ip address etc etc in status.

You will also find your SN and your IMEI number should be on the back on your Tab, in very small print. (not the CE number) Suggest you use a big magnifying glass to read them, lol.
