I'm currently evaluating the Galaxy tab against the (shudder) iPad for my company. They are on the verge of buying 15 iPads and from a support perspective (my job) that's a nightmare.

I can probably sway them to the tab but I have one big problem. I'm evaluating the software available using my Galaxy S and so far I've tried Thinkfree, Docs to Go and Officesuite Pro (free versions). None of them can display animations or sound in Powerpoint - at least in the free versions. I'm happy to buy software- but I don't want to unless it works.

iPad can now do this with software called Keynote (paid software) perfectly.

Please save me from the iPad nightmare! Is there any powerpoint software for android that does the full powerpoint presentation?

Hello.

You can try the pay versions and you have 30 min to test them out. You can request refund in the 30 min interval so it's a good shot to try them.

Let us know if any work :)

Nope- none of them fully support powerpoint. Big black strike for tab and android. The damned ipad does this seemlessly now using software called keynote
