I bought the Galaxy Tab 7+ a week ago and I am loving it. It is very fast and perfect travel size (sooo thin).
The ONLY major issue I'm having is finding a case for it. I have only found a couple case/sleeves (that I don't really like) and most labeled for the Galaxy 7 Plus show pictures of the much thicker Galaxy 7" in the case. I realize that this was just realized and assume more cases will start showing up, but there is ridiculously little selection even for a new product.
Let's make this the thread to put links to new cases that get released . Here are the very few I have been able to find. Please continue to add more as are found. I think this could be a great resource for everyone.
Thanks!

Galaxy Tab 7 Plus CASES THREAD...

According to the Amazon display, the case you posted (My Link) is made for both the
7.0 AND the Tab PLUS. Here's their description:

Made for Samsung Galaxy Tab Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus 7-Inch Tablet Protects your Galaxy tab from scrathes and scuffs!
So . . . . I guess we're still searching.

My wife has a Kindle Fire and I just recently got the Galaxy Tab 7 plus. I ordered a Samsung case for the Tab 7 & it didn't fit- (holes missing for audio, camera) and the case was pretty clunky, so I returned it. I tried the Marware case from my wife's Kindle and it fit great, looked great, felt great and even let me use the camera (when you install the Tab in the proper orientation the back folds down out of the way when the case is in easel mode). The Tab is held firmly in place by 6 well padded spring "fingers". It's an all leather case, available in different colors, on the Amazon site. The price is a little steep ($45) but it's the only case you'll ever need. It's very "svelte", doesn't turn your tab into a big clunky brick - I'm lovin' it, here's where to check it out (search Kindle Fire Marware on Amazon if the link doesn't work).

Check out the "pink" color if you really want to see how the case fits on the tab; no interference with the edges of the tab and it has an elastic strap to keep the cover closed.

Poetic (http://www.yourpoetic.com/) makes a case for the Galaxy Tab 7+ with all the right openings, except for the IRDA.

There is a new poetic slim case that's going up on amazon on the 18th of this month (jan). I bought the one with the clasp and i don't like it. kinda clunky. and a little too puffy for my taste.
The roo cases also seem too bulky as they're essentially two cases (the one that skins around the tab plus 7 and the case that surrounds it. Marware case seems cool but i want a case that covers the bezel.
Thin is what i'm really hoping for as to showcase the tab plus' thinness.
From digging around, the ferrari of cases seems to be this one (to see if for yourself, Google: Wholesale PU Leather Case Tablet Pouch For Samsung Galaxy Tab P6200). i have this exact one for my ipad two and its incredible. does anyone know how to get it any cheaper? with shipping it turns out like 46 bucks. too much.
There is also one on ebay titled "Black carbon fiber tab plus 7 case" or something that also looks promising being that its only 10 bucks with free shipping (guessing two and a half weeks shipping though cause its coming from Australia.
The speck cases from target for the kindle fire also seem to fit, the 29.99 one (being there is 0.06" excess to make up for the difference in width of the fire and tab plus) is soft not a hardshell so it'll slide in easily.

I got the roo case and really like it, but you're exactly right. The double walls make it kinda heavy and bulky. I will look forward to checking out the new case on the 18th. Thanks for posting!

I got a Targus THZ166US-50 case at Best Buy that looks very much the same as the Marware case noted in Post #5. It fits the Tab 7.0 Plus perfectly and all ports are accessible. It too is listed as a Kindle Fire case.

ordered a Zagg Invisishield for my Galaxy tab 7 plus. hasn't arrived yet but as soon as it does i will update with fitment. Had same protection for my Tab 7 (p1000) and very happy with it. great scratch protection and the device is not one millimetre bigger than without it.

I got the cover from Verizon and it's pretty good for $20. All their 7" tab accessories are on clearance..

I went to just about every local store and tried all of the Kindle Fire cases. I finally found one at Walmart that fit almost perfectly, is slim, and can fold back to double as a stand. It was the Belkin Verve Stand, but it was only $20 in store, not $
like they advertise online. It even lets me use the IR transmitter too. The only slight issue is the the leather corner strap nearest to the on/off button very slightly overlaps the power button by 1 mm or less. It doesn't bug me at all and I've never had it accidentally depressing the button. I know you can buy Galaxy Tab 7 plus specific cases online, but I am too impatient and wanted it instantly.

hey everyone!
I have found that I enjoy holding my 7+ tab as I read and the fact that it is so light makes it ideal for my use. Because of this I have decided against the usual tri-fold or traditional cases for my tab and instead purchased a sleeve that is perfectly fitted for the 7+, is extremely light weight and is made of an armor like material.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Protective Poly-Urethane Slide Release Sleeve - Black (ET-GTABBSSGSTA) Samsung Galaxy Tab Protective Poly-Urethane Slide Release Sleeve - Black (ET-GTABBSSGSTA)
Sold by: HOLLYCELL ( seller profile ) This sleeve was a surprising $7.45 on Amazon, USA, and a terrific value for those of us that enjoy holding the light tablet and reading for extended periods of time.
I will post a photo once I figure out how to do that for our forum........
And another case I often use for my tab (I even shove my tab within the sleeve mentioned above within this case) is one I picked up for $5 US at a local Marshalls store. The case is designed for an Ipad and is simply a beautiful, simple and THIN envelope with velcro closure on the flap. It is snug and secure in this envelope and the interior is made of the softest fake suede or micro-fiber. The exterior is a mock crock embossed pattern, black on black and not showy or shiny. Love it! So, check out local discount stores like Marshalls or TJ Max, they usually have plenty of Ipad covers and you might be pleasantly surprised to find an envelope style cover that works for your needs.

Another accessory I am using with my awesome Galaxy Tab 7+ is the Samsumg desktop dock, also purchased thru Amazon US for like $16. I like that it sits up and is secure and it serves as a terrific nightstand alarm clock! The desktop dock has the HDMI port and the USB port, excellent for charging or use it to sync with your pc and to transfer anything like video or a movie to your HDTV. Then again, the tab is Allshare enabled so the need for cables to stream is silly. I just really like propping up my tab where it is safe from scratches or accidental slips.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 HDMI Multi-Media Desktop Dock
I don't know if the link to the Amazon page and image will work for you. This dock fits snuggly so be careful when inserting your tab not to hurt the pin connectors on the dock.
Bought some "pens" to try out with the tab and will let you all know how those work out. I want to be able to jot down notes but more importantly, create sketches and design details on my tab. I am a hospital designer and many times need to survey an area or room for renovation or equipment. Having a tab that can take a photo plus have my notes and a layout with dimensions will be the perfect combination. I used to do stuff like this back in the old Palm PDA days but the stylus tips were perfect for writing and drawing. Let's hope the tablet stylus market gets refined enough that we will have something similar to work with.

@gilgomez:
Hi. What is the model number of the dock you're using? I've looked at a couple online but they say they're not compatible with the 7+
Cheers
