alarm function It's too late...

I set my alarm, but now I can't figure out how to turn it off. Not the actual alert, the alarm function. The indicator "clock", next to the time, in the lower right hand corner will not go away. And everytime I use the widget on my home page, it doesn't change. I have restarted..... Plz help... 10.1 version
