I have 2 quick questions that I obviously posted in the wrong place. I can't seem to get answers from Samsung tech support so I thought I'd try here.
1) can anyone recommend an app that allows LEGIBLE handwriting notes with a stylus AND which stylus you use if it works. I have a universal stylus because I could not find a samsung stylus locally and haven't ordered online yet. I have tried MANY apps including a couple I had to purchase (reading the reviews first). NONE of the apps I have tried come even close to being able to read what I try and write. Even some reviews people would write said they had a galaxy tab 10.1 and it worked great. My tab will be perfect when I can take handwritten notes on it as I can't type as fast as people speak and at least with handwriting I can jot some points down and fill in the rest later.
2)is there an app yet that will allow me to use the music and movies I currently have in Itunes onto my tab?

2 quick questions- handwriting & movies/music

AlyciaM,
What apps have you tried? Any capacitive stylus should work just fine, though I haven't used one myself. The Note Everything app seems fairly popular. I've played with it briefly, but it's not great writing with your finger. I'll be getting a stylus myself soon, and I'll try it out. It may also be a matter of the size of your handwriting. If you're writing very tiny letters, the touchscreen may not be sensetive enough to capture your writing accurately. Writing bigger letters might help out, as there will be more travel time on the screen for it to recognize the lines.
If people have said it works fine on the Galaxy Tab 10.1, and it's not working well for you, it may be something with your specific device that's causing an issue. This could be many things, ranging from hardware defects to the device just needing a reboot. I've noticed with my tablet, I need to restart it every couple days or it starts locking up on me occasionally.
As for your iTunes music, I don't believe the music has any DRM on it, so you should be able to freely copy it wherever you wish. Unfortunately, this isn't the case for iTunes movies and TV shows. I have hundreds of dollars invested in my iTunes account with TV series, and I can only watch them on an iOS device, or my PC. It frustrates me to no end. So, while the DRM persists on these files, I do not believe you would be able to watch them on your Galaxy Tab. If the files can be moved to another PC, or run without signing into iTunes, though, the should work 100%. You may have to re-encode the video for optimal performance, but they should work well enough in their existing format.

I have tried Handrite Free, Write pad, Antipaper, Freenote and even the new Pen Memo that is on the tab at the bottom menu. I have tried writing all different sizes for writing and it doesn't matter how bit I write, still not ledgible. That's why I was wondering if the samsung stylus is what makes the difference. Samsung said last night that handwriting is not possible on the 10.1. But there are people with it that have it working- so I really want to know what combination works.
As for Itunes- how exactly do I get my music to the tab then? Exporting doesn't work as the tab says I still don't have music files. The export as M3U files when I export a playlist. It says I can't copy to the music folder on the tab.
As for movies- maybe I will try getting the digital copy again and select the windows media file instead of the Itunes option. I just don't know if I have access to the digital copies anymore from my DVDs due to possible expiration and/or because I chose the Itunes option already it may not let me get the other version. I hope an app comes out that will allows us to just use Itunes media.
