GT-P1000 Using USB Adaptor Galaxy 10.1 on the Galaxy 7.0

I was just wondering if any has try to use the USB connector from the Galaxy 10.1 on the Galaxy 7.0. I read that it only works on the 10-inch but it shows to have the same 30-pin plug.

Never mind, I found the answer. In case anyone else wants to know,
it does not work (no hardware support).

Thank you for taking the trouble to update your question, as I was looking for exactly the same thing - my mother has just bought SD and a USB adapters for her Galaxy Tab 7 but we could not make them work... Very disappointing. I think they should release drivers or whatever is needed for that really.

Galaxy Tab P1000, firmware 2.3.3 (official).

Recently purchased a USB / Card Reader Adapter and cannot read contents of a connected USB memory stick or SD card.

Is there an app available that will allow a USB OTG connection and reading of an inserted SD card ?

New on the forum, have tried a search but please excuse me if this topic has been dealt with earlier.

I have the same problem (GT-P1000, 2.33). I have bought a 5 in 1 card reader but no card is recognised

You can't because the P1000 doesn't support usb host.
