I spent several frustration hours searching and trying to troubleshoot why adobe flash was not working as advertized on the Tab.
Finally figured out that the Enable Plug-Ins setting in the browser was turned off.
I'm not sure if it came from the factory this way or if I turned it off.
But if you have flash issues, make sure plug-ins are enabled.

I have a serious problem playing Flash-based games (namely Zynga games on Facebook, such as CityVille). I have the plug-in setting set to "On Demand" so only the Flash components I want will be loaded. Nonetheless, those games are totally unusable. First, they take forever to load. And then once they've finally been loaded, they just will not respond to screen taps at all. If this is how much the Galaxy Tab can do, I am afraid I will have to return it. Thankfully Costco has a 90-day return policy...
Is there anything else I can do to speed up Flash games on the Tab?
TIA!

I'm sure further Flash optimisation will be a priority in a future update....
make sure Browser Settings are :
Enable JavaScript is Checked, Enable Plug-ins is set to On Demand
At least the Tab has Flash.....looks like the iPad never will...

I flashed my Tab with Firmware P1000XXJQ1 to Android 2.3.3 using Odin. Then i applied root with CF-Root-Tab7_XX_OXA_JQ1-v3.3-CWM3RFS.
Everything working fine, except Opera Browser. It still works, but it doesn't display flash anymore. Flash is activated in options menu, but doesn't work. This is very painful, because Opera is the fastest, smoothest and best Browser for the Tab and i tried a few. Anyone having the same problems? It worked fine with FROYO. What can i do now? Delete some left over files from old installation on Froyo, or maybe remove the root? What can be the cause? Adobe flash test website tells me, there is no plugin available for my operating system.

Got the same problem with stock 2.3.3, not rooted. Every other Browser I've tried (Stock, Dolphin, Miren, Boat, Ninesky) plays Flash just fine. Used to work on 2.2 ...

Sounds like an Opera update is required Icewolf77.
Hopefully the Devs will be working on this, but until one is available, you might wish to use an alternative like Dolphin HD.

after my samsung tablet upgraded from adobe android flash player version 10.x to version 11 I can't play flash videos. I keep getting a message telling me to download the latest version of the flash player, which I of course already have. Uninstalling the upgrade didn't do the trick either. Is there anyone out there with similar problems? Or even better: with a solution?

have you checked your Browser settings since the upgrade ?
do you still have "Enable JavaScript" checked
do you still have "Enable plug-ins" set to "On Demand"
do you still have "Enable JavaScript" checked
