My daughter recently saw Monopoly HD on the i-pad and loved
it (even I liked it). I looked for it for Android, wanting
to buy it for my Tab and there were no "legitimate" places
I could find it. EA was selling their version of Monopoly
which looked a lot less fun, but otherwise there were only
dozens of warez/torrent sites. I do play PC games, but only
ones I pay for--as far as I know the torrent sites are all
illegal pirating. Is this true? And is it still illegal if
the product isn't actually available for sale anywhere?
And if I can legitimately download the game, how do I
actually do it and xfer the game to my Tab? Looking at
these sites I am totally confused as to how to actually
get the game?? I suppose I need some sort of torrent
client, but not really sure what the specifics are.

Never mind.

I downloaded Monopoly HD from mediafire.com onto my Win 7 pc no problem.

It's an .apk application. I then copied it to the SD card on my Tab.

I installed the free AppInstaller from the Android Market on the Tab.

With the AppInstaller I could see Monopoly HD and install it.

However, opening the game results in a black screen and then back

to the "desktop". Turns out tho this is an Android app, it needs

certain CPUs/GPUs to run. Snapdragon or whatever. My Sprint Galaxy

Tab or Verizon Charge won't work, but other devices do.


If anybody find out anything more, please post it--I don't want to

have to buy an I-Pad 2 to run this app :-) !!

I also need to purchase Monopoly for my Tab. I do enjoy the EA Monopoly that I purchased online for my Samsung Omnia II with OS Windows 6.1 Please help for site to purchase this. The same applies to EA Scrabble which I got for my Omnia II. How can I purchase this for my Samsung Tab running Android OS.
