I bought a Galaxy Tab 7" in the US (T-Mobile) and brought it home with me to Norway, where I bought a Samsung Keyboard Dock with nordic keys. The problem is that I cannot write the three special letters that we have in Norwegian (æ,ø,å), and that some of the special sign keys do not match the sign that is set up for them. (I can, however, write those letters on the internal keyboard that I downloaded as an app from the Market - but there is no similar app for the keyboard dock.) I guess the problem is that my US Samsung keypad is not set up with Norwegian input language. How do I solve this problem? There must exist a Samsung keypad with the correct language files, but how do I get hold on that keypad or download and install the Norwegian language file on my SGH-T849? The Samsung Kies is to no avail, as it only updates the software for the T-mobile version.

I dont know the answer but need to know because my keyboard is giving those type signs when I try to use the number keys. It is also typing z for y and vise versa. ex. Trying to type one hundred sixty three comes out like this +žš. Does that look familiar to you? Here is one through nine: +ěščřžýáí. I have no idea what these symbals are. Please lett me know if you find out how to revert it. It started doing this out of the blue. Thanks.

I'm sorry, but I've given up on this problem - temporarily, at least. But I'll post the solution if I ever come across it!

The solution for getting Nordic keys (Swedish, Norwegian, Danish) on your dock is easy.

Just download the different apps (for rooted phones):
Norwegian keyboard: https://play.google....droid.keymapnor
Swedish/Finnish: https://play.google....id.keymapswefin
Danish: https://play.google....droid.keymapdan

Or for phones that are not rooted:
https://play.google....wkeyboardhelper

Worked for my rooted (CM 9 version) Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wifi (PT7510).
Just remember to switch input-method to the standard one, in case you have switched.
Galaxy Tab ???? GT-P???? Android Version ????
