Hi everyone. I plan to buy a galaxy Tab because I'am in love with this device. But I only have one problem: Does Galaxy Tab support Arabic language? So I have two questions here: 1. When you want to choose the device language, is there an Arabic language? 2. Can you read arabic fonts on the device? If you dont know just check www.balatarin.com with your Galaxy Tab to see if you can see the fonts. If you see squares instead of fonts it means that Arabic is not supported. I would really really appreciate if someone can help. Thanks a lot.

I have one which I purchased in Europe couple of days ago. Arabic letters on the web were shown not connected. Default Samsung Keyboard didn't include Arabic as input language. Nor Arabic language was included in the Locale.
The Market area does offer some Arabic Keyboards (AnySoftKeyboard, Dr. BenOx keyboard, Ibrahim Keyboard,..) but only the Ibrahim Keyboard could connect the Arabic letters together but with limitation. For example it cannot connect letter in search dialogs etc. Also it was small keyboard which designed for smaller phones like HTC Desiger, Galaxy S. The other keyboards were impressive and include many options, but do not fix the letter connection problem. Also no one of the mentioned keyboards support right-to-left switching.
As I am aware of that Android 2.2 should fully support Arabic, and hope these issues get resolved quickly.
In any case the Galaxy Tab is big enjoyment. It has great user interface. The touch works perfect and very stable OS. It offers more than the iPad. In any case I recommend to buy it.

Had a chat with Samsung ME support, they have an update for G-TAB that provides Arabic support. I will visit their service center in Dubai to do the update next Saturday.
