Hi everyone, i need some help

i have just bought a samsung galaxy tab and i am unable to get the voice recognition to work when i hit the mic button, i have already went into the settings and turned on voice input but it still says "connection error". i already have a galaxy tab that works fine with no fuss but this new one i just bought does not seem to be able to work with voice input but it is only 5 mins old so.am i doing something wrong?


can anyone tell me what im doing wrong/ how to fix it or if i should run back to the shop before they close and get my money back?
