Are there any apps that you recommend having? There's a lot on the market and I don't know what might be handy. Already got some other browsers, ASTRO, skype, aDownloader, etc.

Even I am looking for the applications. But I guess not many suggestions here. Can anyone help in terms of rating of the applications avaliable ie which one to doenload and which ones are useless. Alternatively, guide to any website where we can explore bit more

Well, I'll chime in with what I always install on my Tab (I have a Galaxy Tab 7" and a 10.1" as well. Don't use the 7" much since I got the 10.1!)
Whew! That's a big list. Hope that helps you!
- Dolphin Web Browser. It's much better than the stock browser, imho.
- Flash. I don't believe the current version is installed when you first get it, so it's improtant to go get it!
- BeautifulWidgits. I bought this a while ago, and they really are beautiful. The weather background seems to be a bit of a CPU hog, though.
- AVG Anti-Virus. I don't know how common a virus is for Android, but it's always better to be safe than sorry.
- Jabiru. A Jabber chat client.
- Amazon Kindle App. I've had a Kindle for a while, first reading books on an iPod Touch, then an iPhone, then a Kindle, then moving to my tablets. While I prefer the Kindle for reading outside or in bright sunlight, the tablets work great most other places.
- ES File Explorer. This lets me grab files from my NAS device, and bring them to the tablet. (PDFs, videos, etc...) It's nice because you can go to a device on your network and grab the files you want from it.
- TouchDown for Tablets. I got this a while ago when the stock email client stopped working correctly with our exchange server. It's a little pricey, but it's a very nice email client.
- ezPDF Reader. I have a lot of RPG PDFs, and this is one of the better PDF readers I've found. I haven't used it a whole lot, but so far it does not dissapoint.
- Twitter.
- ACast. I use this as a Podcatcher. I used to get all my podcasts on my iPhone, but since I got my tabs, I use ACast.
- Ventriloid. This is a Android Ventrilo client.
- Netflix. I have to use an APK found on the web for this, being in Canada. That being said, the one I've got works great, but the sound can be out of sync occasionally. If you can get the Netflix app through the marketplace, and have an account, defenitly go for it.
- Guage Battery Widget. This is pretty self explanitory. This hails back in large part to the Tab 7", which wouldn't give you the % of battery remaining, and the icon was tiny.
- Skype.
- Angry Birds. This game is addictive...
Whew! That's a big list. Hope that helps you!

If you could provide some idea of what you want to do with it maybe there would be some suggestions.

Wow.. Thanks for the suggestion, my primary application requirement is for an ebook reader supporting all ebook extensions and a comic reader for my kid (reading comics).
Also I was desperately looking for a file explorer, with witch I can shut the applications w/o rebooting the system and I hope ES File Explorer can help me with that.
