I bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and use it for business to do presentations. I therefore need a connector cable to connect the Tab to a VGA cable.

The Apple Ipad has one...

Where can I buy this cable?

I have exactly the same problem; I need a straightforward way to connect the Tab to a VGA projector for presentations. Is there such a cable?

Until a single-phase solution becomes available you could get the Samsung HDMI connector and plug in the HP HDMI to VGA converter. I got one from Amazon (http://www.amazon.co...31745661&sr=8-1). Plug the HDMI male from the HP adapter into the jack on the Samsung connector and then plug your VGA cable into the female plug on the HP adapter. I haven't tried this exact setup..but have run HDMI out from my ASUS EP-121 tablet to a VGA projector using the HP adapter. Now that I'm a proud GT owner, I need to get the HDMI connector myself. Assuming the Samsung connector does its job (and I've read nice reviews) then this should work.

Need some experts on cable or adapter. I just bought a Galaxy Tab 10.1. I need to connect to a multimedia projector for powerpoint presentation which has a VGA cable to Samsung Tablet. Any suggestion on adapter/cable that will work? I am trying to figure out USB to VGA or HDMI to VGA but either way need to have a adapter. Is there any lose of signal during the conversion?

Is there one extension device for Samsung's Tablet that has HDMI, USB, SD memory slot, VGA, etc? It will be a wonderful world which such a device.

Thanks for helping as I want to keep the Samsung if I can resolve the VGA issue without too many adapter connecting.

As everybody else here, I have not find a one-step solution.
My 2-step fix is this: First, you need the Samsung HDTV adapter, you can buy it in amazon http://www.amazon.co...s00_i00_details
Second, this HDMI to VGA converter has done the trick for me, also, avaible in amazon http://www.amazon.co...2185888&sr=8-34

I am very happy with my Galaxy Tab, but the lack of any one-step solution to this basic procedure, provided by Samsung, is very disappointing

Hi everyone, I see a few threads on this topic (HDMI and DVI) but what about trying to connect with projectors that just have VGA connectivity? A colleage of mine has no problems with connecting his Ipad (with an adapter) and I can't believe we can't do the same with our Andriod! can anyone point me in the right direction?

Paul

Most projectors have a RGB input.....if this is the case for you, then you will need this accessory....

If not, maybe an additional conversion cable will be needed.....like this one

So I recently bought a 3m mpro150 pocket projector with the intention of projecting from my Sumasung Galaxy Tab 10.1 [P7510].
I firstly bought an RCA adapter cable but it wouldn't work with my projector or the TV. After examining it discovered it was for the p1000 model and although there is a 10.1 cable on http://www.mobilefun...r=aff_aw_85386. Samsung officals said there was no RCA cable for the 10.1.

So I tried option number two - the HDTV 30 pin adapter with a HDMI-mini HDMI cable to my projector. Still not working at all!! When I plug my adapter into the tab before connecting the projector or anything else the News360 app automatically opens but it does nothing else.

Am i missing something really simple or is pairing this tab and projector never going to work??

Any suggestions well!!

I see the Mini HDMI connector one end of the adapter.......what's the other end....is it an SD slot or a USB ?

If it's a USB.....you may have to power the adapter via the USB.....
