Hello,

My cousin Recently got me the galaxy tab wifi-only for my birthday. And I am a total NEWB with Android, its way too complicated for me. I've been searching for a way to fix or rectify this issue, but no luck yet.

My problem with the GT P1010 is that the Market available on it, only provides FREE Apps. My guess is UAE doesn't have a paid market or something?
I've read in a few forums about changing the IME and stuff, but I have no idea what that means, and I don't know if that works with a wifi-only device as I am not able to "CALL" from the galaxy tab. Please I really need help with this, I am really sick of all the free crappy apps on this market, I want real games with full access and no advertisements. Also, could you please dumb it down for me? because I don't know anything about this device. Thank you.

And sorry if this forum existed before, I looked but couldn't find any with galaxy tab wifi-only.

You must first register with the market a "debit" or "credit" and of course yourself, you have to have a Google account to "buy" apps on the market, I too was a newbee until I got my Tab P1010 in July, but very good with Windows, only, now I am quite good with Android, it takes patients and a little time, read the manual for your tab available to download from Samsung site, it may help you understand your Tab a bit better.
