Samsung Kies......search for it on the forum.

Or you can use a MicroSD card in a SDHC USB reader, plugged into a PC. This can then be inserted in your Tab, unsurprisingly in the slot marked microSD :good:

Hey, i'm really slow/new at this, so how did you even put movies onto your sd card? "galaxy tab for dummies" would be good for me. simple step by step instructions. Thanks!

Put MicroSD Card in SDHC USB reader......put SDHC USB reader in USB port on PC.

Copy the films from the folder on your PC, to the folder that represent the MicroSD Card in My Computer.

If I understand you correctly, then I should be able to download the Samsung Kies program into my pc, install the new microsd card into my GT, attach the GT to my pc which already has the movie, click on drive G, that appears on my pc, and paste the movie onto my new microsd,
I tried doing this (before I knew about this Kies)and the drive G kept requesting that I insert a disc into it, which I already had.The new microsd was in drive G but the pc did not recognize it.

No...two different methods there......

1) Install Kies on your PC, connect you Tab. Once Kies has found your Tab transfer the files to your Tab via Kies
If your in the US and contracted to a US Carrier Kies may not work on your Tab.

OR

2) You can use the MicroSD card in a SDHC USB Reader, attached to your PC via a USB port. ( No Tab attached )
The SD Card will show in My Computer as another drive, and you can transfer the files directly from your PC into that drive.
When the files have transferred, take the MicrSD card out of the SDHC reader, and put it in your Tab
Re-boot the Tab, and after the two scans have taken place, your movies should play.
