Hi guys, I am new here. [Guess not help so I post in General]

I am planning to buy a tablet and Galaxy Tab 10.1 attracted me the most among all. But I do have some question that I would like to ask before I actually lay my hand on one.

Does the Tab able to open and edit Microsoft office documents like Words/Excel/Powerpoint? How much function will there be or just the minimum required tools just for edition?

I have seen an adapter on Samsung's website that allows the plug-in of USB devices such as keyboard. Question is, am I able to plug-in my external HDD and play my video straight away? Tab is the host.

Previous posts about the Tab 7", Wifi and 3g model having different hardware specification, with the Wifi version having a lower, slower specification. I wonder is this the same for Tab 10.1?

I just have 3 question at the moment.
Appreciate all the answers to clear my doubt.

The Office Suite Pro App will allow you to process MS Office documents...

Not a lot is know at present of the capabilities of the USB device, but a free app called ES File Explorer will allow you to access public folders on your PC via wireless LAN, and play mp3, video, and view jpg files.

The only difference on the current 10.1 wifi only models is the memory configuration and the colour. I would guess that this will be the case with the 3G models too, when they arrive.

There will be regional variations, of course, as with the current 7 inch Tab's.....to allow them to comply with different Countries regulations, but the basic specification still remains the same.

ES File Explorer. So basically it's connecting into my Windows based pc to access the files stored in the folder? Able to access, but do I able to read them?
I made some search on google and I found Airstash, a wireless alike flash drive. I guess ES File explorer are able to connect to it? Hm....

Regarding to the memory configuration and colour, do you mean Wifi only maybe has less memory and less colour resolution?
Not too sure but I would like to check these things out before I actually purchase it without regretting

No, Not at all.....I'm talking about the 10.1 being available in two colours Black & White.

Also it is available in a number of RAM ( the space your store your Apps/Games etc. )configurations 16/32/64Gb.

The Samsung spec on the 10.1 USB adapter says it will read flash drives and connect to removable storage, so I would have thought that would include a USB external HDD.

Most probably I will choose Wifi only/White & 16Gb provided external storage can be allowed (Thanks MikeW).
