Frequently my Tab P1000 loses access to the internet connection while on WiFi. It is not the WiFi hub problem because other devices are working fine. I sometimes turn WiFi on and off and all is fine but I also need to reboot on occasion to get reconnected. I have not found this to be a problem while on 3g.

By the way this happens on many different WiFi hubs so it is not site specific.

Any suggestions of how to fix? Thx

It looks like this is not a common problem based on zero replies.

But i forgot to mention the signal stength showed max in most cases with the above noted problem. Still looking for a fix. Problem only occurs on WiFi.

In my own experience I have notice that this is likely cause by the security settings on the router and/or the lack of update of the router firmware, I had this issue too and fix it up upgrading my router fw and trying different security setting on it! Hope this help! ;)

I am also having the exact same problem. My Galaxy will work fine for about 20min and then drop. It continually tries to reconnect but no luck. I just bought it today and so far I am not very impressed.

I am having the same issue. Just got my Galaxy today (bought from a friend). I am not the most computer savvy person out there and don't know how to check my router security settings. Any help is appreciated as it is frustrating to disconnect/reconnect all the time! Thanks.

Try a different channel on your Router.....might help.
