Hi

Apologies if this is too much of a newbie question, but, yesterday I bought a Galaxy Tab 3G (GT-P1000T). When I click on the Samsung Apps button, the message "No SIM. Unable to launch application".

True, I haven't yet put a SIM in, but is it not possible to connect to Samsung Apps using WiFi only?

Is there a setting that will allow me to connect to the app market via WiFi?

Thanks

Mick

Not sure why you had that problem, I was able to run it just fine, but it looks like you have the 16gb version? Not sure why that would make a difference though...

Thanks guys.

After loading my SIM and downloading a test (Angry Birds, of course) and then removing my SIM I am able to access the Samsung Apps via WiFi.

Can't get onto market.android.com - says no android phones are associated with my account, even though my phone is there!? Off to Google to see if I can find a solution to that one.

Cheers

Mick

Thanks Gainn

I did sign into the market with my gmail account and removed, saved, added, saved my phone number. I still cannot log in without getting the no phone registered error.

The only app i have is Samsung Apps, no Market app. I'm in Thailand, does that make a difference?

Finding this whole thing a bit confusing.

you need the actual market app on your phone so it can read the details of it..

there is a tutorial on this site for activating the market in the faq section..

Hi
I am unable to upgrade the samsung applications, since it failed my camera two times. Now I am running without upgrading the samsung application and there is no problem for my camera. But now I am not able to enter samsung application. Since it is the fate since I brought the tab in last May from Bangalore, India, I am little disappointed. Is there any one having any problem like this and a solution for it?
