.wmv movies on Tablet? Why won't it work?

The PC version will play on a PC with Media Player 11 installed, but will not play on the Tab.

I don't think the PC version will play on a Windows 7 PC, which has Media Player 12.....at least it won't for me !

The Digital Copy, however, will not play on unauthorized devices due to DRM (Digital Rights Management) copy protection. Unfortunately the Android Tablets including the Galaxy has not get a license to play DRM contents, which means Digital Copy movies will not even play on the Android-based tablet.

If you really need to put Digital Copy to Galaxy Tab for personal use, the DRM remover ChewTune(only $29) will make free digital copy out of DRM-protected contents. To be honest, i am very satisfied with the program so far.

Heavens, I need a step by step book - and a dictionary to tell me what some words mean... ie "rooted" - in my vocabulary it means stuffed... presumably it doesn't mean that here... VBG I have spent the whole weekend coming to terms with my Galaxy 10.1 - I copied over some webinars (wmv format) but the Kies programme told me that they needed to be reformatted and did I want to do that? I said yes and it converted them to MP4 - this took ages and I began to wonder if I would live long enough to see it finished.... Reading messages on here it appears that the Galaxy will/should play .wmv files... is this correct please?

Sunshine Tom - your message said "I know a step by step guide..... etc" - so where is the guide or did you mean "need" instead of "know"...

there are lots of guides about how to use this tool for different devices on its website, i just follow the guide to solve my problem easily
