cant find any that say that they use the M$ RDP.. teamviewer is good tho, and free if its not for commercial use..

Thanks - it's to acccess work and MS RDP based are the only ones are IT department sanctions. I shall have to have a good hunt.

I use PocketCloud from Wyse (in The Market) - works with my MS RDP - you need to be able to install software on the server or PC you are connecting to though. MS RDP just wont work with any browser other than IE from what I can gather. It needs to install Active X.
Once set up Pocketcloud works very smoothly - quicker than using my laptop - there is a touch pointer to mimic a mouse and you can move around the screen easily. I can even watch the live stream from my IP cameras on my tab through it.

Playing with Remote RDP Lite

Works pretty well, free and doesn't require any additional software to be installed on the server.

I use also RDP Lite by xtralogic.

Compare to the internal RDP Client by Microsoft this little tool is very effective, easy to configure. has a lot of configuration possibilities and comes perfectly on the SGT display.

I handle an ASUS R2H in my car to enjoy my music collection of app. 3.500 audio cd's....

The SGT has an resolution of 1024 x 600, the ASUS uses a native 800 x 480 but thanks to RDP Lite i have a fullscreen R2H on my SGT.


Additionally to this I have "Teamviewer" on the SGT to handle my servers at home and in the office.

I use both wyse pocketcloud and logmein ignition.

They both work really well have got any complaints yet except don't use it on a phone. To small and seems slower but maybe that is because I am having to pinch and zoom a lot.

MS RDP Desktop Connection Tool can be used to remotely access computers on same network. In order to remotely access computers on different networks, you can try using various remote support tools such as logmeinrescue, gosupportnow, GoToMyPC etc. or can even consider deploying on premise remote support appliance such as Bomgar or RHUB appliances.
