Hey

Have a new 10.1v tab and got a tv out cable from Samsung with the 30 pin connector.

When I connected it into the TV tonight it mutes any sound playing from the tabs speakers but displays no picture or sound on 3 tvs I tried.

Anyone able to help or guide me with what's up.

if it is then its only compatible with the 7"..

for the 10.1 they only seem to currently have the HDMI ones..

This is out of stock at the moment, and shows as being on 'back order' (as far as I can tell it's never been in stock yet)
it seems that although the new tabs may be using the same 30 pin port, that the wiring is different.. :/

It's not in stock anywhere that I can find yet.. if Samsung dont have it on their site, then its probably being held back till after the 10.1 is on sale everywhere.. they do this kind of thing to build anticipation for things, so that people get them soon as they are on there..

I'd just check back every now and then to see if its available..


incidentally, what site was it that said the 7" one would work on the new tabs?

i have been looking for someone to answer the following questions, i am going to buy a galaxy 10.1 and i am planing on connecting the gt to my panasonic tv.

1.can i connect a wireless mouse, wireless keyboard and hdmi cable all at the same time?
2. would i be able to use my tv like if it was a pc diplay?
3. does a wireless mouse work good with the gt?

please explain as much as possible...

I got one of these for my GT-P1000 but not tried it on the GT-P7510.

If I get a chance I will see if I can get it to work.

I bought one of these as well. It doesn't seem to work? Suggestions... All HDMI adapters seem to be sold out nearby...

Your best bet is to get it online. I know locally, we have no accessories here, but you can find them on Amazon or eBay.

nsnaphaan, I believe that adapter is for the 7" Tab, so it might not work for the 10.1. The only adapter I've seen for the 10.1 is for HDMI out.

The name is escaping me right now, but on some TVs, you can send video/images directly from a mobile device. When I remember what it's called, I'll see if I can verify that with the Tab 10.1.

Hi Guys,

I just got my Samsung Galaxy 7500 10.1 tablet and have several questions in regard to connecting the device to HDMI tv.
Can someone let me know specifically what I need to buy to make this work? If you can break it down to parts/link to the specific cable, adapter, audio cable, etc that would be much appreciated. There are a lot of conflicting information online and I just wanted to be sure that I'm getting the right ones.

You need an HDMI Dock plus an HDMI cable ( these are usually mini HDMI to HDMI )http://www.samsung.c.../EDD-D1B1BEGSTA

Be aware though, that DRM protection is built into Samsung accessories.......So you will not be able to view any protected content on your TV via any HDMI device.

Can anyone recommend an affordable HDMI splitter to use with a blu-ray player AND Galaxy Tab 10.1?

I purchased a pigtail splitter from Amazon but it didn't work.

I am really impressed with the galaxy 10.1 so far, but I have one problem that is driving me mad. When I use the HDMI adapter it automatically switches the audio source from the device to the hdmi and turns of all internal audio, both from the speakers and the headphone jack. Unfortunately my HDMI projector has no audio output so I need a way to keep the tabs internal speakers turned on while using the HDMI output adapter?

Any assistance would be very gratefully received, as this is really driving me nuts.
