Writing App for Taking Notes for students

Ok so, i am new to this. I am looking for the ultimate writing app. I'm a student so i want to be able to take my class notes on the tablet, but at full screen experience. I have to take calculus soon, and i'm a biology major. So does anyone know of an app that will give me the best of both worlds? I want to be able to take notes just like on regular paper and draw pics to if needed and be able to save to EVERNOTE. So far i've seen some apps but they restrict you to just writing in small boxes, however with calculus
this will be an issue..

Please help this is the only reason i haven't bought a tablet yet... and i'm itching to do so i don't want to if i cant find this app. i will have to suffer using paper!

If I'm not mistaken, you can't take notes using a stylus using evernote. Evernote is for typing out your notes or using picture and including some txt.

Sorry bad news unfortunately. I have tried every app I can find and every stylus (Boxwave, Griffin, Stylus Sock, etc) but no working combinaiton. iPad can be used, see app called Noteshelf. Looks like HTC will be launching a great tablet called the Flyer which has a digitiser built-in so hand writing will be supported at hardware level. Asus are also working on a dedicated note taking tablet.

i personally feel that Catch is the best for taking notes

After trying many applications with no success I decided to develop my own application.

I just finished it (well at least the very first version), so you can give it a try and send me your comments.

Just search for TabNotes on the market (the application is designed for android tablet not for phone).

This sounds very interesting, but it's a huge install! 17Mb - what have you got in there?

I personally find Extensive Notes as the best notetaking app, but it doesn't allow the use of stylus, if I'm not mistaken.

Hello,

Sorry for the delay, the application has now been released in full version.
I added a lot of new features and especially one which provide a very easy way to draw shape perfectly (squares, circles, lines).

You can still try the application using the trial version and do not hesitate to send me your comments (my email is in the market, accessible from your android device).
