Hi I am new to this forum and this is the 1st post,

I am having an old Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 thats not been used for sometime but still working like new :D . I am trying to get the Kindle app to work so I could read books downloaded from amazon on it. The Tab is running Android 3.2 which I think came on it when I purchased it for my wife many years ago and its not auto updating to a later version.

Please let me know how I could update the Android version or how I could get the kindle app to work so I could read my ebooks. I am not very tech savy so please some step by step advise would be very appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help.

You may be able to download a Samsung firmware update from the SamMobile website ( sammobile.com ).

The SamMobile site has the firmwares for Samsung devices released in the various countries. Firmware
updates are not always released in every country. For example, a firmware update was not released in North America
for my tablet but I was able to download and install the firmware update for my model that was released
for the UK. You can search for your device on the SamMobile site and see a list of firmware versions for
each country and maybe find one that you can use.

You can also search the Forum on SamMobile and find instructions on how to install the firmware update.
