I would suggest Elixir because it is a great diagnostic app and it's also a very useful productivity tool. <BR><BR>You can create little control panels sorted by function, and the smaller icons grouped by function allows one to do more with less homescreen pages, saving that much on memory footprint and increasing the Tab's speed. It's a very versatile and functional app available for free.

just used widgetsoid for the first time to create my own power control bar with custom colours etc, pretty easy to use aswell

I would like to suggest ezPDF Reader, application that in fact I bought my Galaxy Tab for... Well, I have found some other great applications for GT since then, but ezPDF is still my favorite.
It has nice bookmarks features, you can make notes inside documents (including handwriting!), underline, draw on document. ezPDF works with dictionary...
Great piece of software, really.

DioMemo - not perfect, but pretty nice app allowing you to annotate screenshots or maps as well as use as a memo pad.

Lcd density - combine it with a launcher and widgetsoid or any other widget creator and have amazing control over your tab screen. This app is for root users and keep in mind everything goes smaller when you change your res including yout icon bar, web pages etc. Do not set below 160! Im set at 180.

I suggest you specify what applications are compatible with each version of the Galaxy Tabs, since not all of them work for all (I.E. FACEBOOK and the WIFI version are not compatibles)

Don't know if someone already recommended this app, but I am very pleased with AUTOKILLER MEMORY OPTIMIZER- the paid version. it's like an add-on to the built-in task manager, but much better one

I'd like to suggest "App stack". Extremely handy little thing.
My second suggestion would be "Thumb Keyboard", probably the most useful app I found so far. The split keyboard is perfect for tab-users and the tool is ridiculously customizeable.
