Downloading Apps - warning messages a complete NOOB request for advice

I was looking through some of the Android apps and thought I would download one to try it out, on pressing install I see a screen with 4 or 5 red warning triangles and messages about the app taking over control of various functions. How significant are these messages and can I safely ignore them and proceed to download without concern (WIFI only machine)

(I did say it was acomplete NOOB query!)

This is normal function of app installation on Android devices, it's in order to provide an indication of what basic functions of the device the software intends to interact with. It's up to you to decide if you feel comfortable continuing. I always read the review comments to see if anyone has reported anything unusual after installation.
