I have been scouring this forum and I have what I think is a specific question.
I just recently purchased a samsung galaxy tab for sprint (US Carrier) and will be traveling to London. I am wondering if I get an Orange Top Up Sim card (Dolphin plan for unlimited internet and texts) it will work?
Do I need to unlock my tab first? Do I loose any functionality with sprint service (appstore, market, data?) when I unlock my Tab?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

U.S. Sprint Galaxy Tab in London?
Posted 10 May 2011 - 12:31 PM (#2)
I have a Verizon Tab so no SIM. I found this company and will be using their MiFi device for a trip to Japan - XCom MiFi
It is $14.95 a day right now. You may be able to get a SIM cheaper if your Tab is unlocked. The MiFi solution is good if you also want to use your PC. You can share your access with others you are traveling with too.

The Sprint version has no slot for a SIM card and will not/cannot be used with a SIM card. It is a CDMA device, not GSM.

Right, I forgot. Sprint is as bad as Verizon version. Go to XCom. That would be your best solution right now.
