Minutes before joining this forum I joined the forum for Blue Mail. Within what seems like minutes the app renamed itself to "type". I find type's approach to life a bit clunky but the samsung supplied email app stopped picking up messages for days at a time, forcing me to look elsewhere. I have strategy questions re this app - somehow I stupidly lost my welcome msgs for that forum and forgot to bookmark. Now search engines are no help at all re getting back to the Type forum.

1. THIS forum (tab pro 10.1 apps) doesn't seem to be looked at by anybody - 1 post no replies. If no replies show up in the next day or so I'll try again in a more generic section.

2. Does anybody know how to find the Type forum or know a mail app they like enough to recommend?

Can't you get back to it through the links at the bottom of its Google Play page ?

Well, sigh. I guess my failure to spot the contact and developer web site pointers at the absolute bottom of a very long Google Play page packed with advertising sort of gives the lie to my claim of dawn-age computer god infallibility, doesn't it?

Thanks very much for inspiring me to look at the get-product page in more detail rather than relying on search engines.

Speaking of dawn age, I'm truly aghast at the quality of some of what passes for server technology these days, none of which would have survived for 5 minutes in the corporate world my company used to serve. My microscopic company's rep in the mainframe world was based on vetting our software to death (mostly my job) and addressing serious problems as close to instantly as we could possibly manage (my team and the developers behind us - I used to have to call developers occasionally at 2 AM to prevent prime-time service outages that could cost our clients millions). But enough about the "good old days" - as I've just demonstrated, vast experience doesn't make one infallible

Thanks again for your help! :good:

I didn't find a direct link to the forum but I expect the app's support team can provide one. I "owe you a beer" as we used to say back in the day, sometimes to associates 3 continents away... :drinks:
