sending picture to another phone? Vodafonepayg

I am in the UK on a vodafone payg web pack sim. I have tried to send pictures from the camera gallery to another phone but I am unsuccessful. I was given some step by step info from the vodafone web site on " how to change my mms settings if I have moved to payg" which I followed but with no luck. Does anyone out there have a solution.
