Hi,

I have 360 panorams in flash and would like to show offline files to clients.
I want to open html file saved in Galaxy Tab. How to locate the file through browser.

If I directly open the it says needs Flash. Why?

Any help.

Hi Rana,

In your browser try this : Enter your browser, click the menu button near the home bottom on the left bottom. From the menu press Download Manager -> Go to My Files and navigate where you have the html file. Let me know if it works like this.

Galaxy Tab Model : 7-Inch Original
Galaxy Tab Number : GT-P1000

Have you tried using Chrome to Phone? I wonder if that would work for your needs.

It plays Flash files online perfectly. But why not playing offline files.
I will try to install Adobe Flash.

Let's see.

Web pages that have a flash file as content consist of two parts. One is the html page, and the other is the actual swf file (the flash object). The html file has code in it that points to the swf file and pulls it into the html page you view.

So, if you are just copying down the html file, but not the swf file with it, you only have half of the content. When you are offline it won't work because the page is trying to link to the swf file where it is stored (on the internet server) and that link is not available.

You will need to store both the html page and the swf file to view it offline, and the swf file will need to be stored in the same directory structure indicated on the html page.

If you don't need the full html page content, you could just download the swf file and it should play by itself as long as you have Adobe Flash software on your Tab, which you probably do because it works for you online.

Dear Maris,

I create 360 Virtual Tour in Flash. They work fine on MAC / PC online and offline.

Same files copied on the web server work perfectly on Galaxy Tab.

When copied on to Galaxy Tab, did not work offline.

I will now install Adobe Flash Player on Galaxy Tab and try.
All files are in the same folder.

With regards,

Dear All,

I have checked from the Galaxy Support Team. They said that it will play flash files through html if uploaded on web server. Playing html files having flash contents does not work OFF Line.

My Galaxy showed that the Flash Player is installed but it never played HTML flash files OFF LINE.

I did find a solution for my Flash Panoramas. I downloaded another Flash Movie Player (Not Adobe). Copied Flash Stand alone Files in the Galaxy. Run the files directly. New Flash Player (Not Adobe) opens and plays Flash Files perfectly some times it hangs.

With regards,

A question:

I have a special dictionary in HTML form in my files. When I open it through the file browser, It opens through a special HTML viewer, not the browser itself. It's a pain because it doesn't have all the zoom adjustments of the browser and it doesn't remember from page to page. How to configure so HTML files open with the default browser?

Why not just open the file from the File Browser directly?

Why go to the browser first?
